The essence of Morton's List is people getting together wherever they are, whatever time of day, and saying, "What the hell? We've got nothing to lose. Let's promise to do whatever this game tells us for the next hour and see what happens." It's about letting go of control, and letting fate, chance, karma - whatever you want to call it - take over.

That's when the magic happens. That's when people's eyes open up and life-long memories are made. And when it's all over, more likely than not, you'll say, "Well I never would have ended up doing THAT if it wasn't for Morton's List, that's for damn sure."

Although you can play alone, Morton's List is usually played in groups called Inner Circles. These groups are really core to what the game is about, and the purpose of this Meetup group is to encourage people who play Morton's List or who are curious about it to come together, communicate, form Inner Circles, and play. That's what it comes down to: Morton's List is about doing something. It's about playing the game, and seeing where it takes you.
